The Peace and Conflict Studies Institute is located within the Faculty of Social Sciences and International Relations. The Institute is involved in a number of research projects with several institutions outside of Cambodia, notably the Free University of Amsterdam and our Global Campus partners in Japan, Sri Lanka and Indonesia. The Institute also sponsors courses on the topic of peach and conflict studies, in cooperation with institutions in Japan, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. Expanding relations with academic and non-academic bodies are part of the mission of the Institute and the Faculty of Social Sciences and International Relations. We also plan to expand our relations with NGOs and other organizations active in Cambodia in order to strengthen our educational and service activities here, for the improvement of academia and the society as a whole. In this regard, the Faculty of Social Science and International Relations is actively involved in community service projects at various levels and in various locations.
