Two students from different majors received $560 USD from Yonezawa Rotary Club, Japan. The scholarships were given to outstanding students who seek for support.

Ms. Rath Chanrasmei, one winner expressed her feeling of getting the grant. “Most of the money, I will spend on my father’s current illness, who is a retired civil servant,” said Ms. Rath. “The rest is used for textbooks and other study materials.”

The gentleman in his white shirt and black trousers looked amazing. He has his own dream to be a governor in his province. “I tried my best to fulfill my dream and the money is very beneficial,” said Mr. Sry Senghourt, another winner of Yonezawa Rotary Club, 2018.

In his remarks, Dr. Kol Pheng, PUC founder and the President, advised the winners to use the funds in the way that enhances their learning and future profession. “Please do not forget the supporters though you graduate and continue to help the next generation if you can afford.”

Rotary launches its scholarships every year. “It is just there for you to challenge,” Prof. Khun Sopheap, Yonezawa Rotary Scholarship Coordinator encouraged more students to apply.
