PUC was established in 1997 and initially started with English pre-academic programs. On January 1st, 2000, PUC began its full academic programs. PUC was founded by a group of Cambodian expatriates from the United States of America, whose objectives are to contribute to the development and enhancement of Cambodia’s human capital, and play an active role in the “nation building” process for future generations.

Duties

  • Teach Academic English Support Program (AESP) students in accordance with PUC’s Academic Program standard
  • Plan and prepare good effective lessons to improve students’ abilities to read and write effectively in university settings
  • Analyze student’s needs and teach in accordance with their educational requirements
  • Assure lessons are effectively delivered in a timely manner
  • Keep students’ progress through observation and assessment
  • Maintain good order and discipline among students by complying with university’s rules and regulations
  • Perform other assigned tasks as requested by the program coordinator

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in TESOL, TEFL or equivalent certificate
  • Good English language proficiency
  • Professionalism in teaching
  • Good knowledge of teaching methodology and pedagogy
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, and motivation about teaching
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Minimum one-year experience of teaching English

Salary is upon negotiation.
