Phnom Penh, May 26, 2025 – Mr. Seng Muny, Vice Principal of Paññāsāstra International School (PSIS), was recently selected by Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) to participate in a Staff Mobility for Training program at Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey. This significant opportunity, which took place from May 11 to May 17, 2025, was made possible through the esteemed Erasmus+ program, reflecting the strong mutual cooperation between the two universities.

The “Capacity-Building Training Program,” organized under the European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students (Erasmus), was fully supported by the Erasmus+ initiative, covering all travel and daily expenses for Mr. Muny’s stay. The intensive program brought together 31 professionals from 15 universities across 13 countries, fostering a rich environment for international collaboration and knowledge exchange. This particular mobility likely coincided with Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi’s 11th Erasmus+ International Week, themed “Empowering Sustainability in Erasmus,” which focused on sharing best practices in internationalization and staff training.

This initiative underscores the commitment of both PUC and PSIS to global engagement and professional development. Such scholarship opportunities are consistently encouraged and offered to academic staff and students, enabling them to enhance their academic and professional competencies on an international stage.

The participation of Mr. Muny in this program highlights PSIS and PUC’s dedication to capacity building and a global educational perspective, ultimately benefiting the wider academic community in Cambodia.
