On July 11, 2016, Dr. Thongchai Kruahong, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Chairperson of the Environmental Studies Program at Suratthani Rajabhat University, Thailand, led a delegation to Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and a Memorandum of Agreement.

Dr. Kol Pheng, PUC founding father and president, warmly welcomed the arrival of the delegates from Suratthani Rajabhat University. Dr. Kol Pheng explained, “We enroll more than twenty three thousand students, including undergraduates, graduates, and post graduates. The most popular subjects to study at PUC are Business and Education.”

During the discussion, Dr. Thongchai Kruahong, called for PUC participation in a research project on Effective Memorandum of Action ASEAN, which has been progressing. He stated it would be useful for PUC to be in the project and to deliver its knowledge and experience to the members.

After the agreements are concluded, both universities hoped to exchange students in business, hospitality, and other related studies in the near future.
