On 17 June, 2016, the Faculty of Tourism and Entrepreneurship, together with The Bridge, organized a special lecture on funding platforms to start a business. The presenters were Professor Dr. Daiyon Cho, Director of SISD Creatinnovation Startup Program, and Mr. Jinso Whang, CEO of The Bridge.

Professor Chiv Ratha, Dean of Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management and Entrepreneurship, welcomed the two guest speakers, thanking them for spending the time and effort to provide their expertise and experience to Cambodians, especially to PUC students.

Professor Mak Vann, Senior Vice President in charge of the Faculty of Business and Economics and Faculty of Tourism & Hospitality Management and Entrepreneurship, advised audiences to grab the opportunity to create new ideas for their future business enterprises. Prof. Mak Vann pointed out that new startup businesses face strong competition for funding, and that one has to know well the challenges and the process to raise funds. Hence, this lecture was a good learning experience.
