Short Term Exchange program to Japan

To enhance the international cooperation that has been stated in the Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions in September 2011 Hiroshima University of Economics (HUE) will sponsor PUC students to study in Japan for one semester under the auspices of scholarships, the Japan Student Service Organization (JASSO) and Hiroshima University of Economic (HUE).

This short-term exchange program will start on April 4, 2016 to August 8, 2016

Qualifications & requirement:

  • Second years Bachelor’s Degree Program in Business and Economics
  • GPA of at least 3.00 or higher
  • English language certificate such as TOEFL/TOEIC/IELTS.
    • TOEFL ITP… 500 or above
    • TOEFL IBT… 70 or above
    • TOEIC… 750 or above
    • IELTS… 5.5 or above
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • PUC’s current academic records
  • Scanned passport number
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Active in community activities and volunteerism
  • Commit to follow the national law and policy of the Government of Japan
  • Follow the scholarship’s requirements and other relevant conducts
  • Follow the HUE’s codes of conduct and disciplines

This Short-term Scholarship will cover:

  • Tuition fees
  • Entrance fees
  • Facility fees
  • Housing
  • Plus monthly stipend of 50,000 Yen from HUE

Other Expenses will be covered by the Grantees such as:

  • International Airfare
  • Food
  • Book Fee
  • Visa
  • Physical examination
  • Health insurance

How to Apply:

The application form is available at the International Study Program (ISP) Office. Interested applicants must submit complete both hard and soft copies of application form and all required documents to ISP by October 28, 2015
