Brief description

The Master Programme has been jointly developed by Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI) and will offer a unique opportunity for committed individuals to obtain an international level postgraduate qualification in international human rights law in Cambodia. Staff at justice sector institutions, government institutions, non-governmental organization, academic institutions and freshly graduated students are likely to find the programme useful. Schedule

In 2017, the programme will be conducted during the weekends in order to enable students with full-time employment to attend. Classes will be provided in three sessions scheduled between 08.00 on Saturday morning and 17.00 on Sunday afternoon. The first semester will start on 20 April 2017.

To apply for admission

To be admitted to a Master's programme, applicants must submit the following documents:

PUC’s graduate programme application form (available at PUC Legal Clinic);

• Two photos (4 X 6);
• A copy of resume/CV;
• A copy of certified bachelor’s degree;
• A copy of bachelor’s degree transcript;
• A personal statement letter;
• Two letters of recommendation; and
• A TOEFL score of at least 550 or IELTS score of at least 6.0 (If the TOEFL score or IELT score cannot be obtained, applicants are required to take PUC GAT Test).

Application must be submitted to PUC Legal Clinic. Only hard copy is accepted. The deadline for application is 7 April 2017.

Scholarships

Subject to funding approval by the Swedish Development Cooperation Agency, a limited number of scholarships covering the full tuition fees will be provided by RWI and PUC. Provided that the scholarships are available, the detailed scholarship information will be updated on PUC website latest in February 2017.
