What:        Project Citizen Student Competition Showcase

 

When:         Saturday, May 12, 2007 from 7:30am – 5:00pm

 

Where:        PUC South Campus, Srey Dim Conference Hall

 

 

All PUC STUDENTS, STAFF AND FACULTY MEMBERS, INCLUDING THOSE

FROM OTHER UNIVERSITIES AND INSTITUTIONS AND THE GENERAL

PUBLIC, ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO ATTEND.

 

The PUC Center for Civic Education is pleased to announce that we are going to organize a Project Citizen Student Competition Showcase at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia. The event will bring together students from 7 different public high schools in Phnom Penh to do the presentation on their chosen topics. 

 

Project Citizen is a new pilot project funded by the U.S. Department of Education through the Center for Civic Education in Calabasas, California, USA. The purpose of the pilot project is to introduce the new concept of Civic Education to Cambodia in order to promote an enlightened and responsible citizenry committed to democratic principles and actively engaged in the practice of democracy in Cambodia.
