For Cambodian Students

M.A. in International Journalism Studies

         
HONG KONG BAPTIST UNIVERSITY, one of the oldest and most prestigious private universities in Hong Kong is offering two graduate fellowship scholarships for Cambodian Students for its new Masters Program in International Journalism Studies.  The fellowships, which are being funded by the KEARNY ALLIANCE, a non-profit foundation based in the United States, cover all costs for the student during his/her study in Hong Kong.

What is the MA Program in International Journalism Studies?
The MA in International Journalism Studies degree is an internationally- recognized full time, one-year ENGLISH BASED program offered by the Department of Journalism at Hong Kong Baptist University. The degree provides excellent training and background for students wishing to work in international business, international relations, journalism/media/public relations, government, and international organizations/NGOs.

Application Requirements:

Candidates should already have a bachelor’s degree or receive a bachelor’s degree by the end of this term.  Experience in journalism or a bachelor’s degree in journalism is not required.   Other bachelor’s degree majors, such as Business, International Relations, Political Science, Law, and English are also acceptable, as long as there is an interest in journalism and excellent English speaking and writing skills.  Interest in international business and economics is a plus.
