Guest Speaker:	Mr. André Schaffner, President of UBFS Dipl. in Math, ETH

Mr. André Schaffner obtained a Diploma in Math, ETH, Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and History of Arts. He is currently the President of Institute for Financial Planning (IfFP) and the University of Business & Finance Switzerland (UBFS). Mr. Schaffner was instrumental in the development of professional training and education for financial planners and financial planning experts in Switzerland. He is a Board member of the BVF Schweizerische Trägerschaft für Berufs und Höhere Fachprüfungen in Bank, Versicherung und Finanzplanung as well as the IAF Interessengemeinschaft Ausbildung im Finanzbereich. He was also a Mathematics lecturer at the Fachhochschule Aargau (University of Applied Science of Kanton Aargau) and was for many years a leader in the Citywide Research Institute in the Canton of Zurich. As his most recent function, he has contributed to direction of education in the Canton of Zurich in the field of secondary schools development.
