Mr. Rhys Johnson has started his professional career as a Chartered Accountant in PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a well-known accountancy firm. Then, he has been repetitively involved in some aspects of professional training and education in the field of accountancy since 1990. He led Ernst & Young’s Business Community Training in Bahrain, and was Head of Education for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the UK. He was further assigned to develop the Certified Accounting Technicians (CAT) and review the ACCA professional qualifications. In the last eight years in Singapore, he was Managing Director of FTC Kaplan in Singapore, one of country’s leading private education organizations.
Currently, Rhys is Head of Education and Development for ACCA in ASEAN and Australasia where he specializes in building relationships between ACCA and its learning partners including many universities in the region.
