SCHOLARSHIP
POLICY
In order to be considered for a scholarship from Pannasastra University
of Cambodia (PUC), a student must meet the following criteria:
NEW CANDIDATE must:
1.
Belong to a family with lower socio-economic background.
2.
Have matriculated and completed at least one (1) term of study
at PUC, and obtained a B average.
3.
File a Scholarship Application at the PUC Administration Office.
4.
Have no record of disciplinary action or grievance filed against
you at PUC.
5.
Have maintained good class attendance, model behavior and conduct,
and academic honesty.
CONTINUING
CANDIDATE must:
1.
Obtain at least a passing grade for each term and maintain a C
Average for annual GPA.
2.
Participate in the daily and/or weekly Work-Study Program (i.e.,
Office Assistant, Library Assistant, Computer Labs Assistant,
etc.) as arranged by University officials.
3.
Be available to provide support services at all University events
and activities as informed by University officials.
4.
Observe strict disciplines in class and on all PUC premises as
stated in the University's Student Code of Conduct.
5.
Maintain good class attendance, model behavior and conduct, and
academic honesty.

The following behaviors: cheating, frequent absences or late arrivals,
lacking respect for teachers, and bothering teachers and fellow
students in class and/or on University premises, etc., will be
taken into consideration for scholarship qualification.

All PUC scholarship awards are worth up to one (1) year only and
must be reapplied, processed and renewed by October 31 of each
academic year. Each Scholarship Recipient must be responsible
for filling out and reapplying the Scholarship Application by
this deadline, if s/he wishes to have his/her scholarship renewed.
Failing to do so may lose the scholarship eligibility for the
coming year. Scholarship review and/or cancellation, however,
may be conducted at the end of each term when such actions deem
necessary.

All scholarship awards may be given or cancelled at the discretion
of the University President, with the approval of the PUC Scholarship
Committee.
