RULE And REGULATIONS
Service
Charge: Starting in Term II/2003 (March 24), PUC will
charge for the following services:
-
Certified/Recommendation Letter: 2000 Riels per copy.
- Transcript: 8000 Riels per copy.
Note:
PUC will provide one (1) free copy of transcript when you graduate
from your degree program.
Add/Drop: Each PUC Student is responsible to
follow University procedures for adding or dropping Class (es).
Students
enrolled in the academic program (Bachelor's or Master's) must
fill out and submit an Add/Drop Form, if they want to add or drop
a class. This Form can be obtained from the University Registrarr’s
Office. They also need to inform their class instructor. Failing
to do so may result in a fail grade (F) or no credit at the end
of the term.
Deadlines:
-
To Add Class(es): By the end of 2nd week of each term.
- To Drop Class(es): By the end of 5th week of each term.
Leave
of Absence: Students who need to take a Leave of Absence
for one week or longer from their study must
fill out a Leave Form. This Form, which can be obtained from the
Registrartion Coordinator, must be submitted at least one week
before the Leave date.
Documents
or papers (Doctor's Order, Mission Letter, etc.) justifying the
requested absence must accompany the Leave Form when applying
for Full- or Long-Term Leave. Students are allowed to have a maximum
of two (2) Full- or Long-Term Leaves, and each of these leaves
should not be longer than 2 terms at a time.
Failed
Grade: Students in the Academic Program, when obtaining
a failed grade for a course at the end of the
term, are entitled to the following:
Step
1:
Retaking the exam (one time only for each course and during 2
terms are allowed) by making arrangement with the University Registrarr;
Step 2:
(If still failed to obtain acceptable grade) Repeating the course
after getting permission from the University Registrarr.
Two (2) repeats are allowed for each failed course.
Note:
1. No fee for the retake of exams, but students must pay for each
repeat.
2. Grading cards can be picked up from the Registrarr’s Office
from 5th - 8th weeks of the new term.
The Registrarr’s Office will not be responsible for the loss
of the cards after that.
Students must show fee payment Receipt when requesting
for Add/Drop, Leave of Absence, Transcripts, or other administrative
services.
