Criminal Law Student

	The PUC Clinical Legal Education Program is an academic course providing legal education to both law and non-law students. When taking this program, the students benefit from important knowledge such as Constitutional Law, Human Rights Law, Law on Marriage and Family, Criminal Law, and Civil Law.  In addition to learning those key subjects, students also acquire skills in teaching methodology. After three months of in-class learning, students have the opportunity to go to various Cambodian communities located in Text Box: both city and rural areas for the purpose of providing  a legal education to disadvantaged people who have little access to education.   
	Importantly, one of the Legal Clinic’s programs this term is a teaching campaign focused on high school students. The three high schools involved in this program are Wat Koh, Sisowath, and Santhormouk.  Upon posting the announcement for a free legal course at each set location, seventy-eight high school students applied for the earliest course provided by the Clinic.  The course was taught on Sundays and Text Box: lasted for period of twelve weeks. Clinical Legal Education Program Student

	As a member of the Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP), I volunteered at the Cambodian Women’s Crisis Center (CWCC) with a peer. When I started working at CWCC, I had no idea where to start because the people that CWCC helps are typically much Text Box: older than me and are relatively under-educated. Consequently, I worried that they would not respect and listen to me since I am much younger than they are.
	At first, my peer and I were a bit hesitant and weren’t sure how to teach our students.  However, we decided to write and prepare a lesson plan in advance, Text Box: keeping in mind that these students are survivors of domestic violence (DV). 
We taught many lessons during our twelve weeks of teaching at the center, including: Gender Studies, Human Rights, Women Rights, Family Law, and Constitutional Law of Cambodia. Showing Pictures was one of the methods
