This half-day Volunteer Fair will illustrate the importance of encouraging Voluntary Service among Cambodian university students at local and international NGOs in order to promote grassroots volunteer activities that will help build civil society, social responsibility and a sense of trust and solidarity among Cambodian youth.
This special event has been co-organized by both PUC and U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh. Invited participants include instructors, professors and key administrators of several universities and institutions in Phnom Penh; heads of local and international NGOs; as well as U.S. Embassy key personnel.
Ms. Judith Mueller, a business consultant to American municipal and federal governments, private sector employers, and community agencies who seek assistance to enhance the status and condition of women in changing economic and multicultural environments, has extensive experience as an international consultant and trainer to NGOs, governments and foundations in the design of direct services to women and the establishment of women’s centers, resource linkage, training and program development.
Ms. Mueller has served in local community NGOs and associations,
as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the United Nations Development
Fund for Women in New York. She also served as on-site consultant on women’s
issues to international NGOs in many countries in Asia and Africa.
