What: Workshop on Draft Code of Civil Procedures When: Saturday, December 4, 2004 Time: 8:00AM to 12:00 Noon Where: PUC South Campus - Conference Hall No. 184, Norodom Blvd, Phnom Penh Speaker: Mr. Issei SAKANO Japanese legal expert in charge of Legal and Judicial Cooperation Project, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to the Ministry of Justice of Cambodia. This workshop is to introduce general principles of the newly drafted Code of Civil Procedures which consists of 7 books. Presentations, followed by Q&A session, will focus mainly on general provisions and provisions on proceedings of the Code at the Court of First Instance, including provisions on jurisdiction, disputing parties, oral arguments and judgments. Compulsory execution and preservative relief will also be discussed if time allowed.
